Psalm 24 – Who Do I Belong To?

Have you ever felt as if though you never really “belonged” and you kind of did everything and anything you could to “fit” in? Well, if you ever did, or still are, find out what God has to say about that!

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him. (Psalms 24:1 NLT)

And…there’s your answer. You no longer need to try to “fit in” because you already “belong.” Actually, you were created to belong with Christ but because of sin we have been separated from Him. So now, you have been called out of the corrupting atmosphere of the world to a fresh experience with Christ. Alluding to this idea of “re-creation” Paul wrote, “He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them. This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” (2 Corinthians 5:15, 17 NLT) Enjoy this new life, free from the chains that bound you to your worst nightmares and in the freedom that Christ offers.

Blessings,
Josue Hernandez.
