Psalm 26 – Praising God

Psalm 26- Praising God

Have you ever wondering how to praise God?  Let us read to find out. J

<b>1 </b>Vindicate me, O Lord,
for I have walked in my integrity,
and I have trusted in the Lord without wavering.
2 Prove me, O Lord, and try me;
test my heart and mind.
3 For your steadfast love is before my eyes,
and I walk in faithfulness to you.<b><sup>[<a title="See footnote a" href="">a</a>%5D</sup></b&gt;

<b>4 </b>I do not sit with the worthless,
nor do I consort with hypocrites;
5 I hate the company of evildoers,
and will not sit with the wicked.

<b>6 </b>I wash my hands in innocence,
and go around your altar, O Lord,
7 singing aloud a song of thanksgiving,
and telling all your wondrous deeds.

<b>8 </b>O Lord, I love the house in which you dwell,
and the place where your glory abides.
9 Do not sweep me away with sinners,
nor my life with the bloodthirsty,
10 those in whose hands are evil devices,
and whose right hands are full of bribes.

<b><sup>11 </sup></b>But as for me, I walk in my integrity;
redeem me, and be gracious to me.
12 My foot stands on level ground;
in the great congregation I will bless the Lord.

In this chapter we see the ways David praised God. As I read I noticed that David did not do much talking, as in praising God through words but through actions. David lists all the things he has done and the way he lived. Now we know that David was a perfect man but he worshiped the Lord. He loved spending time in His house where His glory dwelled. How do we enjoy spending time with Jesus?! Is just through words or do we show our praise God with our loving actions?! Is our life, like David says blameless? Do we recognize Gods unfailing love? We should praise God when everything is going good and especially when things are not going your way, for we know that the trials we are going through are trials to make us better people and God will not give us more than we can handle. Instead of making this Monday a dreadful day, make it a day that we show Gods character of love to others and by doing so praising God too!:D

God bless you 😀
