Deuteronomy 31 – Next in Line

You are next in line; and if the line is anything like my cafeteria line, it will take forever to get your food. However I’m not talking about a food line; I’m talking about a line to be next for King or CEO of a company, but you have no idea.  One day you are just a normal person and the next you have to lead people who are very obnoxious. Well maybe this doesn’t relate to most of us, but there is something in this chapter that does really relate to you. Let’s dig and read to see what we can relate to.

For Finals Week

Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, “Be strong and courageous, for you shall go with this people into the land that the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall put them in possession of it.  It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” (Verses 7, 8)

And the Lord commissioned Joshua the son of Nun and said, “Be strong and courageous, for you shall bring the people of Israel into the land that I swore to give them. I will be with you.” (Verse 23)

With finals coming up, it certainly helps us to hear these words. Go into finals trusting in Jesus that He will help you if you studied. This also applies to anything you are going through. If you don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, do not worry for Jesus “will not leave you or forsake you.” That also means that it is a two person thing–Jesus is with you but are you with Jesus? If you think you are too far from Jesus, do not worry; just come back and He will be there waiting for you and celebrating that you have come back. 😀

God Bless you everyday 😀

(We are praying for any finals, tests or just trials; if you need more prayer, comment here, or message us on Facebook and you will have a whole team praying for you.)
