Galatians 1 – An Exciting Gift

To have a Savior, a second chance, and the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ, and to tell other people about these things should be a blessing. Joining all the people around the world that gladly take this good news to those who do not have the knowledge of God should also be a big blessing in the lives of other people.

This letter is from Paul, an apostle. It was not appointed by any group of people or any human authority, but by Jesus Christ himself and by God the Father, who raised Jesus from the dead. All the brothers and sisters here join me in sending this letter to the churches of Galatia. May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. Jesus gave his life for our sins, just as God our Father planned, in order to rescue us from this evil world in which we live. All glory to God forever and ever! Amen. (Galatians 1:1-5 NLT)

Jesus gave His life to rescue us from this evil world. To give us a second chance. Jesus Christ died for our sins. This is the reason for us to give all glory, praise, and admiration for who He is, our Lord and Savior. This is good news; to know how much Jesus loved us so much that He did this: “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16 NLT).

Jesus Rescues Us

Eternal life is a blessing. As we read in the beginning we have to tell other people about Jesus Christ who died for us. We cannot keep this to ourselves. The gift of eternal life and the gift of Savior should be joy in our hearts that we will not be able to control and we will be desperate to tell other people about all the blessings that our Father gives us. Do not keep blessings from people. Tell other people about the change that God made in your life. Go tell it even on the mountains, over the hills, and everywhere to all those people in all of those places about Christ. Those people will gladly hear about the salvation and eternal life through Jesus Christ.
