Romans 5 – That’s Right

I always like being right, and people know women are always right (hahaha), so it’s not many times that I am wrong. Just kidding! Most of the time I am wrong about many things, and this chapter helped me realize how right I am by showing my how wrong I am. That’s just weird, right? Well let’s read the chapter.

Romans 5Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. Romans 5:1-6

I love this chapter because in verse three there is hope and encouragement, and we always need that, especially in these days with all the bad news! But as I was saying before, we are made right by knowing we are wrong, and by faith as verse one mentions. We do not deserve to be blessed with anything we have, yet we are overly blessed by our Father. We deserve to be wrong and in sin, but by God’s grace we are made right and righteous. It is not always wrong to be wrong sometimes being wrong could be made into being right.  😀

Blessings,

D.H
