Romans 6 – Second Chance

Romans 6What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it? Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection. (Romans 6:1-5 NASB)

You have a new life in Jesus. You died to the old person that you were, leaving your sins and bad deeds behind. As you die to the old person, you have the chance to live again, since you have been resurrected to a new life. Now you can live for Jesus, surrendering everything that you have, and putting your hands to God’s work.

Our lives should be focused on the work of God more than ever before. God has given us a second chance, and we should give all to God, live for God, and look forward to His big reward.
