Romans 16 – A Revelation of the Mystery

…Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began…”

Romans 16God our Creator has a Plan. That Plan originated in the mind of God. That Plan restores the True Character of God and provides for the redemption of mankind from the grips of sin and the fear of death. That Plan is the Plan of Salvation. You are a part of that Plan that resides in the mind of God. The Plan, no longer a mystery, has been revealed through those that are brought into close connection with Him. The mysteries of God are revealed and realized through the life of Christ. Those same mysteries, are revealed in the lives of the apostles, disciples and those that faithfully believe that Christ is the Son of God, manifest in the flesh.

Paul in Romans 16 asks us to welcome the believers of the faith with gladness and joy. We are close to the Lord in prayer, conversation, thought and walk. Our faith in the expressed will of God, is manifested through the salvation found in an uplifted, crucified and resurrected Jesus Christ.

But it’s more than that, it is a part of the whole. We can commune and respond to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, according to the will of the Father. And as important, we trust His will as ours, beholding Jesus’ life, living as He intended, without fear and filled with Joy and Peace.

The plan of salvation originated in the mind of God and was made manifest through Christ who was foreordained before the foundation of the world. He is now made manifest through those that believe, those who knew Him personally and wrote about Him and those of us that live because of Him. The mystery is that we no longer live of ourselves, but it is Christ who lives in us.  We have no fear, for we have been loved through His obedience of faith and are found as the mysteries of God.
